Working with ClaimXperts
Who do you work with?
We work with roofing contractors nationwide. Our intake and document review can be completed remotely.
Is ClaimXperts a public adjuster?
No. ClaimXperts, LLC is a supplementing and Xactimate estimating service that works only for roofing contractors, on contractor scope and pricing. We don’t adjust claims and we don’t represent homeowners.
Which states do you work in?
Everything is remote, so we work with contractors nationwide. Most of our work is in the hail belt: Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Missouri, Iowa, Illinois and Arizona.
What should I send first?
Start with the carrier’s original estimate, available damage photos, measurements, and your contact information. If you don’t have everything yet, tell us what is missing.
What happens after I submit?
We review the file, identify potential scope or documentation gaps, and contact you about next steps. The supplement goes back in 24-48 hours.
How often do you follow up with the carrier?
Every 2-3 days until there’s an answer.
Can you guarantee an increase or approval date?
No. Results depend on the damage, documentation, policy, applicable requirements, and carrier review. We explain the file’s needs and keep you informed as the work progresses.
How do fees work?
We charge 10% of the approved supplement, with a $150 minimum per file. Nothing is due up front. We invoice on the 1st and 15th after the carrier releases funds. Estimate-only work is $100.
How much have you gotten approved?
Our team has gotten $14.18M in supplements approved across 2,519 claims.
Can I talk to someone before uploading?
Yes. Call (719) 551-0287 or email tyler@theclaimx.com.
Documents and claim review
Can I submit if some documents are missing?
Yes. Send what you have and explain what is missing. We’ll review the available file and tell you which additional documents may be needed. The claim review checklist is a useful starting point.
What photos should I include?
Include overview photos to show the roof and affected areas, then detail photos connected to the items in your scope. Label photos so the reviewer can locate each condition. See the roofing claim photo guide for an organized approach.
Can you help with a claim that is already in progress?
We can review files at different stages, including an initial estimate, an existing supplement, or job completion. Send the most recent estimate, submission history, and open carrier questions so we can discuss the service that fits.
Where does my claim submission go?
The website’s claim review form sends your request to the ClaimXperts team at tyler@theclaimx.com. You can call Tyler at (719) 551-0287 if you want to discuss the file before submitting.
Which manufacturer documents should I collect?
Start with the product name, current installation instructions, applicable technical bulletins, and any relevant specification or warranty document. Match each reference to the actual product and job condition. Our Brands & Materials page links to official document libraries.
What is an F9 note, and do you include them?
An F9 note is the note attached to an Xactimate line item that explains why it belongs on the estimate. Every line item we add gets one, citing the code section, manufacturer instruction, photo or measurement behind it.
Do historical results predict my claim’s outcome?
No. Our published results describe historical records. Each file is different, and revised replacement cost value is not the same as cash collected. Review outcomes and timing depend on the individual claim.
